SwissMixx in Mountain Home
Mountain Home has grown from a small town into one of the valley's favorite wedding spots, and the barn and riverside venues out here are some of my favorite rooms to run. I'm Mark, based in Nampa, about 25 minutes away. Barns are honest venues: big open volume, hard surfaces, and zero acoustic treatment. That is an engineering problem, and it is the part I am best at. Every price is published, travel to Mountain Home included.

Room by room
Two venues worth knowing out here, and they are opposites: one hands you a stage and a house system, the other hands you an empty field. Confirm any policy with the venue before you build a timeline on it.
Up to 300, about 250 seated. House sound is provided and outside sound vendors are explicitly welcome, which is rarer than it should be and worth knowing before you sign anything. There is a stage and a customisable lit ceiling. I still bring my own system for a reception, because a house rig built for speeches is not a dance floor, but the fact that they let you choose is a real advantage.
Up to 250 and listed as raw space, which means no included services at all. Power, cover, and everything else comes in with you. About 25 minutes east of Mountain Home. This is a generator-and-a-plan job, and the quote should say so from the start rather than growing later.
Doing it yourself?
A raw-space venue like Wishing Well Falls is exactly where DIY goes wrong, because nobody plans the power. I rent the kit, size it to the site, and tell you what you need for silent off-grid power. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, and a Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus at $150 overnight or $270 for the weekend if there is no service on site.
Mountain Home is about fifty minutes from the shop in Nampa. That is a travel date and I quote it as one, on the estimate, before you commit. I would rather you see the number early than be surprised by it.

Common Questions
Speaker choice and aim matter more than volume in a barn. I use controlled-coverage boxes pointed at people, not walls, and I tune the system to the room before guests arrive. Loud and clear are not the same thing, and barns punish companies that confuse them.
Published: Reception Only $2,500, Ceremony and Reception $3,400, Full Day $5,750, DIY kits from $249 for the weekend. Mountain Home is about fifty minutes from Nampa, so travel is quoted up front on the estimate rather than buried.
Yes, park events, city celebrations, and school functions, with insurance and W-9 paperwork ready. Ask me about parade and outdoor coverage, it is a specialty.
