SwissMixx in Kuna
Kuna knows how to throw a community event, and I know how to make one heard. I'm Mark, based in Nampa about 20 minutes away. Rodeo grounds, park stages, school gyms, and backyard weddings, I cover all of it with touring-grade gear and a published price list. Outdoor events on big open ground are where I separate from the guy with two speakers on sticks: I size the system to the acreage so the families on blankets at the back hear as clearly as the front row.

Room by room
Curfews, power and what each room does to sound. Confirm any policy with the venue before you build a timeline on it, because venues change their rules and a wrong curfew costs you the last dance.
Music ends at 10:00 PM, and the ballroom opens through two sets of double doors onto the patio, so indoor and outdoor are really one space once the doors open. The indoor ballroom holds about 100, the patio takes you to around 200, and the full grounds handle up to 300. Worth knowing: the Castle Gardens publishes another local DJ company as its booking contact, so if you want a different vendor, ask them directly whether outside entertainment is allowed before you assume.
Indoor barn reception with a pool, waterfall and patio outside. Amplified music indoors and out with some restrictions, so get those in writing.
An outdoor arena with bleachers and a covered stage on 25 private acres. This is a real open-air concert setup and not a reception hall, and it should be priced as a production.
A 4,800 square foot white barn with a big lawn and patio. No house sound advertised, so everything comes in.
They run outdoor live music where guests bring their own low-back chairs. The music area is open lawn with no seating infrastructure, so coverage is wide and shallow.
Doing it yourself?
Plenty of couples here run their own sound, and for a ceremony and a modest reception that is a reasonable call. I rent the kit, size it to the room, and tell you where to put it. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa, delivery across the valley.
Kuna venues split hard between "small room with a 10 PM curfew" and "open-air arena." Those need opposite systems. Tell me which one you have and I will tell you what it actually takes.
