What I Know About Garden Valley Venues

Curfews, power and what each room does to sound. Confirm any policy with the venue before you build a timeline on it, because venues change their rules and a wrong curfew costs you the last dance.

Freedom Ranch Gatherings

The only published power on site is RV hookups at $50 per RV. That is the whole electrical plan unless you bring something. Outdoor restrooms are required above 45 guests and an 18x18 dance floor is mandatory if there is dancing. Twenty-four gated acres on the South Fork Payette. My battery power station handles a ceremony and cocktail hour silently out there for $150 overnight, and on a property like that silence between songs is part of what you came for.

Sixty Chapel

Four separate ceremony sites spread over 47 acres, and it rents Friday through Sunday as a full weekend only. There is no single-day rental, so load-in is a weekend commitment for every vendor. Four sites means you decide early which one gets the real system.

Terrace Lakes Resort

The event space is an outdoor pavilion four miles from Crouch, surrounded by national forest. There is no metro backup for gear up there. Whatever breaks, breaks an hour from a replacement, which is why I bring spares instead of hoping.
