When the show needs more hands I bring in my crew, and here is the part planners notice on show day: every person on it runs their own production company. I don't hire day labor. Drive and judgment are things you can't teach somebody by Friday, so I pay more for people who own their work.

Owners show up early, catch problems before you see them, and treat your show like their name is on it, because around here it is. You get the coordination of a one-man shop and the muscle of five companies, without a production company's overhead.

SwissMixx understands the logistics, permitting considerations, and professionalism required. For major festivals, city events, or multi-day productions, booking 3 to 6 months in advance is recommended. For corporate events and smaller productions, 4 to 8 weeks is typical.

SwissMixx Audio coordinates power requirements and cable routing directly with your venue or facilities contact ahead of the event, so there are no last-minute surprises about where a drop needs to be or how cable gets run safely through the space. For larger productions, this is covered in the technical rider along with amperage and circuit requirements. Cable is always run and taped for safety in any walkway or public path.

Front-of-house, FOH, is where the sound engineer runs the board and mixes the show. Placement depends on the room and the show: rear center gives the most accurate mix reference for a large room, while side or mid-room positions sometimes make more sense for tighter venues or when sightlines matter to the client. This gets confirmed during the site walkthrough or from your floor plan, and it's built into the production plan before event day so there's no scrambling to find a spot once gear is on site.

Every event with wireless microphones gets an RF frequency scan before showtime, and when multiple vendors are running wireless gear in the same venue, coordination happens ahead of time so systems don't step on each other mid-event. This matters most at large venues, hotels, and convention spaces where several groups may be operating wireless audio or lighting simultaneously. If SwissMixx isn't the only AV vendor on site, let us know in advance so coordination can happen before load-in, not during it.

Yes. For corporate and conference-style events with multiple speakers, panels, or a mix of slides and video, SwissMixx Audio can provide seamless switching between sources so there's no dead air or fumbling with cables between presenters. Let us know your run of show and how many sources need to be live so the right switching setup is in place before doors open.
