SwissMixx in Garden City
Garden City packs breweries, wineries, event spaces, and the Riverside district into a few blocks along the Boise River, and those rooms host everything from wedding receptions to company parties to live music. Concrete floors and glass walls make them tricky rooms for sound. That is an engineering problem, and engineering is the part I am best at. Published prices, 20 minutes from my Nampa shop, and gear that fits a taproom without burying the conversation.

Room by room
Curfews, power and what each room does to sound. Confirm any policy with the venue before you build a timeline on it, because venues change their rules and a wrong curfew costs you the last dance.
Three spaces that do not connect: the second-floor Teton Room, a bare industrial production space, and a tasting room with a patio that opens right onto the public Greenbelt path. Cocktail hour on that patio is audible to every cyclist in Boise, which is charming until somebody complains.
House PA, house AV and a stage already installed, inside a working brewery. Live-music capable. Often the right answer here is that you rent nothing from me and hire me to bring my own, which is what I would do.
Over 21,000 square feet of divisible meeting space but only about 1,000 square feet of outdoor space, so receptions land indoors. This is a conference hotel and it prices like one.
A bare exhibition hall to about 5,000, with outdoor barns, arenas and blacktop renting separately. No house PA listed. Everything comes in.
A ticketed concert house with a real stage and production already in place, about 2,200 capacity. Different animal entirely.
A historic estate that runs indoors or out, to about 300 depending on the floorplan and the weather plan. Bigger celebrations go under a tent, and a tent on open grounds is a different sound problem than a room: nothing holds the sound in, so coverage and power both have to be planned rather than assumed.
Doing it yourself?
Plenty of couples here run their own sound, and for a ceremony and a modest reception that is a reasonable call. I rent the kit, size it to the room, and tell you where to put it. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa, delivery across the valley.
Garden City is the most production-shaped market in the valley. There are more breweries, wineries and event halls per block here than anywhere else in the Treasure Valley, and the rooms are industrial.
Half the Garden City rooms already own AV. My best value here is usually as the operator, not the rental house. Corporate AV production starts at $2,850 and I will scope it honestly against what the venue already has.

Common Questions
Not if it is set up right. Hard rooms need controlled speakers aimed at people instead of walls, and volume discipline. I tune the system to the room before guests arrive. Loud and clear are different things, especially in a taproom.
