Day is 24 hours. Weekend is Friday pickup, Monday return. Pickup in Nampa is free; delivery is $250 each way in the Treasure Valley. Everything else is on the full rate list.

How much does it cost to rent DJ equipment?
In Nampa and Boise a Pioneer DDJ-SB3 controller is $75 a day at SwissMixx and a Rane One is $240. Add two Mackie Thump212 speakers at $40 each and stands at $15, and a complete DIY DJ setup for a party of 100 is $185 a day before lighting. Weekend rates are Friday pickup to Monday return at roughly 1.8 times the day rate.
What do I need to DJ a wedding myself?
A laptop with Serato (the SB3 includes Serato DJ Lite), the controller, two powered speakers on stands, a wireless mic for toasts, and a playlist you have actually listened to. Most first timers overbuy speakers and underbuy the mic. If the reception is in a big barn, step up to the QSC speakers or the column arrays on the sound system page.
Does the controller come with a laptop or music?
No. You bring the laptop and the music. The controller, the cables to the speakers and a quick walkthrough at pickup are included. If you are not sure your laptop will run Serato, tell us the model and we will check before you pick up.
Can I rent a DJ booth on its own?
Yes, the Bunn booth rents alone for $320 a day. It packs into two cases and one person can set it up in about ten minutes. Rentals under $400 are pickup only from Nampa; delivery is $250 each way in the Treasure Valley above that.
Is it cheaper to rent DJ gear or hire a DJ?
Renting is cheaper on paper, roughly $185 to $285 a day against a wedding DJ package from $2,500. What you are paying a DJ for is reading the room, running the timeline and fixing problems at 9 pm. For a backyard party with a friend on the decks, rent. For a wedding where the dance floor matters, we will say so honestly: hire the DJ.
