At $245 per channel for the run of your show (up to 14 days, tech week through closing night), pricing stays simple no matter your cast size -- whether you need 4 channels for a small production or a full rack of 16 for a large musical.
Every rental includes the receiver, bodypack transmitter or handheld, antennas and batteries. Lavalier and headset mics rent separately. Booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance is recommended for spring and fall production seasons in the Treasure Valley. School productions often overlap, and microphone systems book quickly for the same dates in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell. Earlier contact means more time for a pre-production walkthrough of your venue and proper RF frequency coordination.
How many wireless microphones can you supply for a single show? +
SwissMixx Audio can supply multiple wireless microphone channels for school productions across the Treasure Valley. The exact number depends on your venue, available RF spectrum, and production requirements. Do students really run the show themselves or does Mark operate the equipment? +
The goal of the student training program is for your students to run the show. Mark works alongside the tech crew during rehearsals, teaching and coaching rather than operating. By opening night at schools across Boise and the Treasure Valley, Idaho, the student A1 is in the seat making real mix decisions. Mark stays available for troubleshooting and support, but the crew is in control. This is intentional: real learning happens when students are responsible for the result.
What grade levels does the student training program work for? +
The program scales to the age and experience level of the students. Elementary and middle school crews focus on the basics: microphone handling, cue following, and supervised mixer operation. High school programs go deeper with RF theory, gain staging, compressor settings, and full show operation. SwissMixx Audio has worked with students from 4th grade through 12th grade at schools across the Treasure Valley, Idaho, including Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell.
