SwissMixx in McCall
A lakeside wedding on Payette Lake or a company retreat at Shore Lodge deserves better than whatever gear survived the drive up. I'm Mark, and I bring full production to McCall, Donnelly, Tamarack, and Cascade: sound, wireless mics, lighting, and the evening party, all from my shop in Nampa. Mountain venues mean no spare anything within two hours, so backup equipment for every critical piece rides in the truck. Published prices, plus a straightforward travel charge we agree on up front.

Room by room
Curfews, power and what each room does to sound. Confirm any policy with the venue before you build a timeline on it, because venues change their rules and a wrong curfew costs you the last dance.
Directly on Payette Lake. Ceremony and reception are open-air over open water, and open water reflects. Sound carries a long way across a lake at night, which is lovely and also why lakefront venues get complaints.
The summit ceremony site is accessed by chairlift. Everything that goes up, goes up on the lift, one case at a time, on the resort's schedule. That is a real logistical cost and anyone who has done it will tell you the same.
Outdoor reception under TipiTents plus a clubhouse patio, on 1,410 private acres, up to about 120.
Membership or member sponsorship is required to book. Access is the gate here, not sound.
Amplified music explicitly permitted indoors and outdoors, access 10 AM to 11 PM. That is the clearest published sound policy anywhere in the region and it makes Riverside Pines one of the easiest venues in Idaho to plan a real reception at.
Thirty minutes south of McCall, which takes about half an hour off the drive.
Doing it yourself?
Plenty of couples here run their own sound, and for a ceremony and a modest reception that is a reasonable call. I rent the kit, size it to the room, and tell you where to put it. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa, delivery across the valley.
Two to two and a half hours from Boise, closer to three from Nampa, all of it on ID-55 through the Payette River canyon. Two lanes, few passing zones, and heavy recreational traffic both directions all summer. I will quote you an overnight on a Saturday with a full rig, because a 2:30 AM return over that road with a trailer is not a thing I want to be casual about.
McCall is a destination market and it should be priced like one, by me and by everybody else. If the travel makes my number wrong for your budget, tell me and I will point you at someone closer. I would rather do that than take a date I have to cut corners on.

Worth the drive
Both sit on the McCall corridor, so they are the same trip and the same travel conversation.
Up to 200, access 10am to 11pm, and amplified music explicitly permitted indoors and outdoors. That is the clearest published sound policy anywhere in the region, and it means you can plan a real dance floor without hedging.
The Arling Center holds 300 with resort spaces around it. Multiple indoor and outdoor options and no AV detail published, so the sound plan gets decided on a walk rather than from a website.
Either of these is a travel date and I quote it as one, up front. Tell me the venue and I will give you the real number.
Common Questions
It depends on the load and the dates, and I will give you the number in writing before you book, not after. The gear and package prices are the same published rates as everywhere else. No resort markup.
Yes, that is what my battery rigs are for. Twelve hours of clean sound on a charge, wireless mics for the vows, and nothing to plug in. For the reception I bring quiet inverter generators sized for the full rig.
Yes. Meeting AV, wireless mics, screens, and the evening party in one written quote. I have run events at mountain properties where the nearest replacement cable is two hours away, which is exactly why I bring backups for everything.
