Nampa to Mountain Home
Wedding DJ and Event Sound in the Treasure Valley
I am Mark. My shop is in Nampa, which puts every town on the valley floor within about 25 minutes of my trailer, so there is no travel fee out here and no guessing about the price. Each city below has its own page with the venues I actually know, what their rooms do to sound, and the curfews that decide when the last dance happens.
5 stars across 150+ Google and Yelp reviews in Idaho and Utah. Read them with real names on them.
Pick your town
Ten pages, one for each place I work most. The venue notes on them come from running sound in those rooms, not from reading the venue's website.
Nampa
Home. My shop and my trailer are here, rental pickup at the shop is free, and the person you text is the person who shows up.
Boise
25 minutes up the freeway, so no travel fee. I know the 9pm Botanical Garden curfew and the 45-foot ceilings at TRICA.
Meridian
About 15 minutes from The Village. Barn venues, event centers and the corporate rooms along Eagle Road.
Caldwell
15 minutes from the shop. Vineyard weddings out in Sunnyslope with no power at the ceremony site are a normal day for me.
Eagle
The prettiest outdoor weddings in the valley and some of the strictest rules about where the music can be. I know which venues are indoor only.
Star
About 25 minutes from the shop. The barn venues out here are big, hard rooms, and getting one to sound right is the part of this job I am best at.
Kuna
20 minutes from the shop. Rodeo grounds, park stages, school gyms and backyard weddings, with the system sized so the back row hears it too.
Garden City
Concrete floors and glass walls along the river, which is hard on sound. 20 minutes away.
Middleton
Ten minutes from the shop, which makes you about my closest neighbor. Same gear I take to stadium shows, no travel fee.
Mountain Home
About 50 minutes down I-84. Big barn rooms with no acoustic treatment, and the drive is written into the quote.
What is the same everywhere in the valley
No travel fee on the valley floor
Nampa, Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Garden City, Middleton. If you are comparing quotes from out-of-town companies, check their travel line. Mine is zero out here.
Every price is on this site
Wedding DJ, event sound, corporate AV and every rental rate. You can see what it costs before you ever talk to me, and the quote matches the page.
One person, start to finish
The person you text is the person who builds the quote, loads the trailer, runs the show and answers the phone the week after. No sales rep, no subcontractor you have never met.
Rent it and run it yourself
If you have somebody who can run it, renting is the cheaper path and I will tell you so. Pickup at the shop in Nampa is free. The catalog is here.
Where the valley gets different
The thing that changes from town to town is the rules. A few I plan around, and the page with the full notes:
- Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise stops amplified music at 9pm, and TRICA has 45-foot ceilings that eat a small system.
- The Courtyard in Meridian ends outdoor music at 9pm.
- Sunflower Lane in Nampa is done at 10pm, and the Civic Center runs its own PA.
- The Castle Gardens in Kuna and Willow Creek in Middleton both stop at 10pm.
- Chateau des Fleurs in Eagle keeps receptions indoors, and the Cottage at Riverbend has no walls at all.
- Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell is 110V only, and Ste. Chapelle stops at 11pm.
Confirm any of these with the venue before you build a timeline on it. Venues change their rules, and a wrong curfew costs you the last dance.
Farther out
Emmett, Idaho City, Cascade, Garden Valley, McCall, Stanley and Sun Valley each have a page too, with the drive priced up front. They are all on the service areas page.
Questions I get
Treasure Valley FAQ
No. Nampa, Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Garden City and Middleton are all a short haul from my shop and the price you see on the pricing page is the price. Mountain Home is about 50 minutes out, so that one gets the drive written into the quote before you sign.
Weddings are about half of it. The rest is corporate parties, school theater, city events, festivals, quinceaƱeras, church events and gear rentals for people who want to run it themselves. Every one of those has its own page and its own posted price.
Yes, and if you have somebody who can run it, renting is the cheaper path and I will say so. Pickup at the shop in Nampa is free and every rental rate is in the catalog.
Text me the date and the venue at (208) 995-0502, or use the quote form. You get a real answer from me, not a sales call, and every price is already on this site so there is nothing to sit through.
