A Little About Me
MARK "SWISSMIXX" CHRISTIANSEN
Experience and passion create the ideal setting for live music and DJ'ing. Fortunately for you, Mark has both in spades. Mark is the owner of Swiss Mixx Audio. He has been passionate about mixing live music since his first time running the sound for his high school production. He has been realizing his passion professionally for years and has over a thousand events of experience under his belt. When you need a professional, you need look no further than SwissMixx to get a balanced sound that will be more than music to your ears.
WHY I DO IT
Getting my start in high school and having to be self taught with little to no training, giving back to students has become my passion. Sharing skills in tech and business at local schools gives them the head start in life I never had.
I uncovered my passion for mixing live sound during my sophomore year of high school, when I mixed our theatrical production of “Damn Yankees”. From that point on, I was hooked—and only too happy to get involved with anything that required a mixer, a mic, and sound.
GOING PRO
After years of volunteer and semi-pro work for schools and community events, I finally followed my dream and started my own audio business. Since 2005, SwissMixx has provided professional sound design, live recording, audio mixing, and post-production editing for bands, concerts, corporate, choirs, theaters, festivals and, of course, DJ services for birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events, and weddings.
LIFE IN THE MIXX
Every time I get in front of my mixer, my senses sharpen and I can’t wait to enhance the sound and balance the mix so the audience gets the best possible experience. I love using my creative edge to produce a precise, clean, and engaging sound that astounds my listeners. When a manager, producer, friend or family member says, “Wow! They’ve never sounded so good!”—well, that’s music to my ears.
