The indoor space at Pine Hollow is an 80 by 80 covered riding arena. That is an arena volume, not a hall, and it is the most important thing to understand about running sound here.
An arena that size is a big, reflective, largely empty box. Cheap gear falls apart in a room like this: it goes loud, it goes harsh, and speech turns to mush at the back. What actually works is controlled directivity, boxes aimed at the guests rather than at the roof, and restraint on level.
This is the kind of room where the difference between somebody who has worked arenas and somebody who has not is audible from the first announcement. I do rodeo and arena sound, which is the same problem in a bigger box.
Up to 250 guests, full day 9 AM to 11 PM, indoor and outdoor both available.

I would be straight with you: an 80 by 80 arena is not a DIY room. A rental kit that would be perfect on a 900 square foot deck will disappear in here. If budget is the constraint, the honest answer is to use the outdoor space instead. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa.
