Boise venue guide
Wedding DJ and Sound at The Penthouse at C.W. Moore Plaza
Your six hours does not include load-in, and that is good news.
Music runs until 2:00 AM here, and your six hours of event time does not include setup or cleanup. Load-in sits outside the clock.
That is a genuinely unusual and generous arrangement, and it is worth understanding when you compare quotes. At a lot of venues you are paying for the hours a crew spends carrying cases. Here you are not, which means the six hours you booked are six hours of wedding.
It also means there is no excuse for a rushed setup. I would rather be in early, get the system aimed properly, and have the room sounding right before your first guest arrives.
Roughly 200 in each space, rooftop and penthouse, indoor and outdoor both usable.
Rather run it yourself?
DIY kits from $249 a weekend
Setup being outside the clock helps a DIY couple more than anyone. You get unhurried time to place a rental speaker properly and actually test it, which is where most self-run receptions go wrong. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa.
