Worth knowing before you book: the venue lists a DJ company as its booking contact.
One thing to know before anything else: this venue publishes VCI Audio's Vince as its booking contact. VCI is effectively the in-house entertainment here. That is not a criticism of them, and it is a fact worth having before you assume you are choosing freely.
Ask the venue directly whether an outside DJ is permitted. Plenty of venues with a preferred vendor still allow it, and some do not. Either answer is fine, you just want it in writing before you pay a deposit anywhere.
On the room itself, music ends at 10:00 PM and the ballroom opens through two sets of double doors onto the patio. Those doors are the acoustic story: open, the ballroom and patio become one space, and coverage has to account for both.
About 95 to 100 in the indoor ballroom, around 200 using the patio, up to 300 outdoors.
Rather run it yourself?
If the venue permits outside gear, the double doors are the thing to plan around. Open doors mean the patio needs its own coverage or the guests out there hear a muffled version of the party. Speaker and wireless mic from $249 Friday to Monday, free pickup in Nampa.
