Company holiday party in a Boise ballroom with SwissMixx Audio DJ, sound and lighting

- TREASURE VALLEY, IDAHO + WASATCH FRONT, UTAH -

COMPANY HOLIDAY PARTY DJ & SOUND

The awards, the toast, the raffle and a dance floor that actually fills. One person runs all of it, the mics work, and the price is on this page. December Fridays and Saturdays go first; most companies lock theirs in by early November.

What a holiday party needs, and what it costs

A company holiday party is three events in one night: a dinner with background music, a program with awards and a toast that everyone has to hear, and a party afterward. The sound has to do all three without a gap, and the MC has to keep the program moving so the dancing starts before people leave. That is the job SwissMixx has done for Boeing, Ancestry.com, Avetta and Tahitian Noni, and for Treasure Valley companies from twenty people in a brewery to three hundred in a hotel ballroom. Three ways to book it, every price published.

The same numbers as the corporate AV, silent disco and rental pages. Nothing is marked up for the season.

Dinner, Awards, Dancing. No Gaps.

Most holiday parties lose the room between dinner and dancing: the awards run long, the mic cuts out, the slideshow will not play, and by the time the music starts half the office has gone home. These three things fix that.

Mics That Work the First Time

Wireless handhelds for the speakers, a lav for the presenter who needs both hands, and a laptop feed for the slides or the year-in-review video, all through one system with a backup mic staged. The CEO's toast is heard at the back table.

An MC Who Keeps It Moving

Mark runs the timeline: dinner music low, a two-minute warning before the program, walk-up music for each award, the raffle called clean, and the first dance song cued the second the last speaker says thank you.

A Dance Floor for a Mixed Room

Twenty-two-year-olds and sixty-year-olds at the same party. Clean versions all night, holiday songs without it turning into a Christmas playlist, requests filtered through what the company is comfortable with, and the lights to make a conference room feel like a party.

Three Steps to a Party People Stay For

01

Send the Date and the Venue

Text or email Mark the date, the room and a rough headcount. You get a yes or no on the date the same day and a flat written estimate you accept online; the retainer (25%, minimum $500) holds it.

02

Build the Program Together

Two weeks out, a short planning form: who speaks, in what order, the awards, the raffle, the songs that have to play and the ones that must not. Mark builds the timeline from it.

03

Eat, Applaud, Dance

Setup is done before the first guest arrives. The program runs on time, every speaker is heard, and the dance floor opens while the room is still full.

Holiday Party DJ FAQ

At SwissMixx a full-production holiday party with Mark as DJ and MC, PA, wireless mics for the awards and the toast, and dance floor lighting starts at $2,850 for up to 100 guests. A silent disco holiday party is $850 for 100 headsets with one channel, $2,100 for 300 with all three. An office party that runs its own playlist can rent the DIY Reception Kit for $399 for the weekend. Every price is published, no sales call needed.

The Friday and Saturday nights between December 5 and December 20 go first, and most Treasure Valley companies book them in October and early November. Weeknights and the first weekend of December are easier. A retainer (25%, minimum $500) holds the date; the balance is due two weeks before the party.

Yes, that is most of the job. Wireless handhelds for whoever is speaking, a lav for a presenter who needs both hands, walk-up music for award winners, and a laptop or slides feed into the same system so nobody is fighting a TV remote. Mark runs the timeline so the speeches happen while people are still seated.

A silent disco solves it. Three channels on wireless headsets, holiday hits on one, throwbacks on another, a dance mix on the third, and the room is quiet to the neighbors and the restaurant next door. It works in offices, breweries, restaurants and hotel ballrooms with a sound cap, and it is the most talked-about thing at the party.

Yes. SwissMixx has run holiday parties for Boeing, Ancestry.com, Avetta and Tahitian Noni along the Wasatch Front, and serves Salt Lake City, Layton, Davis County and Ogden from the Clearfield hub as well as the Treasure Valley from Nampa.

Rent it. The DIY Reception Kit is $399 for a Friday to Monday weekend: two speakers, a mixer, a wireless mic and Bluetooth for your playlist, cable-labeled and tested before pickup. Pickup in Nampa is free; delivery is $250 each way in the Treasure Valley.
